Spring Banquet

My two oldest daughters had a great time at their spring banquet last week. Highschool is flying by (like the rest of life) so I love that they let me shoot them and their friends (plus one boyfriend) so we can capture the memories. The blonde girls are my Marita and Amanda.

I was right 
7 pounds and one ounce of newborn perfection. Don’t let this sweet face fool you though, she only gave me 10 minutes of sleep! Fortunately it was enough for a pose or too. The rest of our time together she was awake and VERY alert. Here are a few of the moments we captured on Day 7……

Standouts – Product share

Earlier this year I began carrying a new product called Standouts. I’ve really been impressed thus far and when this weeks order arrived, I was not disappointed. The portrait is has an emery finish and is mounted on 2 inch MDF board. These can be ordered with black or white edges and although not pictured well, have bevelled edges. I just love these! I have a variety of samples and sizes to share at the home office.

35 weeks

I don’t promote the fact that I do maternity images. In fact, this is my first! I *get* that it’s neat to have pregnancy pics, but there is something odd to me about a faceless body part being my focal point. Still, I’m happy with these, and the expectant parents were great sports. But I can tell you right now that I know I will be far more happy with the newborn pics. LOL
Looking forward to meeting this little girl (yep that’s my guess) later this month!

A new Brother

I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from a past client to shoot their new son. It wasn’t that long ago that along ago that I shot this little guy’s older brother around the same age.
