Contemporary Portrait Photography
There are 3 great (crucial even) times to photograph children – newborn, when they are sitting and when they are walking. Baby Claire easily sits unsupported but still doesn’t crawl – so it’s an ideal time for a baby shoot! One of my friends once told me that this stage was her favourite – they are at peak ‘baby-ness’ – chubby legs, chubby cheeks and full of smiles. Claire is so ideal to shoot – I came back to shoot her in the orchard, but that’s another post 
You need to be on your ‘A’ game to keep up with this guy! Quinn was all over the park, running, crawling, climbing, and eating what he could find – HILARIOUS! So glad he managed to freeze long enough for a good shot 
His older brother, although not nearly as busy is equally as cute. It’s always a pleasure to capture these sorts of childhood moments.
When I saw a message in my inbox from Isabella’s mom, I thought we’d be booking a 1 year session for her daughter whom I shot as a newborn last year. Imagine my surprise to see a request for another newborn session 13.5 months after our first newborn session! It was a pleasure to see mom and dad again and Isabella’s big sister! She has grown into a very cute dark eyed, curly haired little toddler. Both girls are adorable and it was great to capture this special time in this family’s life.
Congratulations again M&B! Your girls are beautiful and I enjoyed my time with you all.

One more session before the holidays. Totally AH-DORABLE!
Among the major milestones of life (Engagements, Anniversaries, Weddings, new Birth, Graduations etc) is TURNING ONE. That first year is so full of rapid changes and growth, not mention sleepless nights! Last year we captured Aiden’s birth HERE and a quick one year later I present him to you again, happy as ever.

7 days fresh! He is positively angelic and his big brother seems quite pleased to with this new addition to the family. We were able to get plenty of images of him sleeping for the birth announcement – in fact I know I can’t decide which I like best!

The prefect session. Perfect. Such a fantastic milestone to capture too, turning One! Truly one of the most joyful little girls I have ever met. She makes me want to shoot one years olds every day.

What a very easy newborn for me to shoot! He’s 12 days old and this was the 2nd shot out of my camera….
but he wasn’t done with the smiles,
I think I will make him my newborn spokesmodel.
