She’s 4 months!

Natasha was 4 months old on Sunday, so we had a little photo session. I love this one! More to come. ~~I know, I said that last month when she was 3 months and I haven’t shared those yet either.~~ I am still working my way through sessions including a newborn from the weekend… stay tuned!

Aunt Kim’s Blanket

I wanted to get a (great) shot of Natasha sleeping bundled in this handmade blanket that I love. Our little session didn’t go as I had hoped. For starters she was awake the entire time. LOL Also, lesson learned: I need an extra set of hands when photographing my own baby. Here’s a few shots;

Great smile, not thrilled about the composition (are you tilting your head?):

Love her smirk, but her hands are chopped off. Blanket should be covering the entire black background:

Not bad, but the out of focus hand in the front is distracting and not my favourite lighting:

Too much baby, not enough blanket. I also recognize this as her ticked off look:

I wish she was looking at me, it’s a dresser that has her attention:

Miss M turns 1

Well, almost 13 months actually. It’s been a long time since my last post. Lots of things going on, none of which were photography related. LOL I won’t be having any more sessions now for a few months, but I do hope to get back into the swing of things in the late Spring. (I’m very excited about 4 Newborns I already have lined up for this year, including my own!)
