Had a wonderful family photo session with this family. I thought the barn interior made a great backdrop for these dairy farmers. Definitely unique!

Logan – 10 days

I really enjoy going back to see past clients again (I really do!). So fun to see how the kids have grown (and how their portraits from our last session are being hung in their home!). This family is no exception. I was back almost two years to the day to shoot the newest edition, Logan.

Here’s Logan’s big brother two years ago;

and two years later at our session. He’s grown into a real cutie!

The Extended Family

Time to dust off the blog and share some sessions! These sessions were from back at the end of summer. A few family groups coming together for a family portrait. Love it! Aside from shooting a great group shot, I always love shooting the grandparents with their grandchildren. Notice how they are always positively beaming?! I do know (from experience) that the relationships between grandparent and the grandchild is unique and special – but I can’t help but wonder if the joy and pride that shines through from the grandparents’s partially comes from knowing they can hand the kids back? I guess I will have to wait and see for myself is that’s an accurate statement (God-willing).

The more groups I shoot, the more I enjoy them. It’s more work, but it’s worth it!

And on the tail of end of fall, just before the temperatures plummeted, before all the colour was off the trees and blown away… one last family got in a family session. Blessings abound with this family; Mom and Dad will celebrate their 10th anniversary soon and their youngest daughter turned one! Such a pleasure to capture some great moments with them.

It was meant to be *C*! Glad the schedules worked out.

The colour and light on this October day was warm and glorious! Simply ideal for a family portrait session. It’s been wonderful photographing so many families throughout Niagara this past month. I love the all the great moments we captured. This day was no different. A wonderful time with another adorable family……

Port Dalhousie provided a lovely backdrop for this family photo session. It was good to see mom as I remember her being pregnant the same time as myself. I can’t believe she already has another daughter, time does move quickly.

Great seeing you again “J” and meeting your lovely family. Definitely one of the best locations to shoot at. I loved it! Maybe next time we can all have ice cream

I feel as though I could do this blog post with only the first portrait. This portrait ‘says’ exactly would I want to tell you about this family; a super cute baby, happy parents and a sweet, well behaved boy…

I met this family when baby ‘A’ was only a few days old – and how she’s grown! The mother daughter portraits are favourites of mine from this session.
