My Anniversary Dinner

We celebrated our wedding anniversary last month . It was an amazing event, we had a personal chef from The Heat is On Catering come to our home and cook for us and two other couples (who are wonderful friends).

James came to our house, brought cutlery and plates – The only thing I had to do was provide the linens and the wine, he cooked the meal while we relaxed out on the deck.

The menu was fantastic.

Starters:
Chicken or Vegetable spring rolls with sweet & sour dipping sauce
Feta Bruschetta

Salads
Oriental salad of mixed greens, nappa cabbage, carrots, bamboo shoots, cucumber, tomatoes and crisp egg noodles tossed in sesame dressing

Diamond Dinner Entrées Menu
Grilled Beef Tenderloin
Smoked Tomato Relish
Rosemary roasted Potatoes and Chevre Cream Sauce

The evening was fantastic! Great food and company and the best part was that I got to spend it relaxing and enjoying the company of our guests. A highly recommended experience!

A New Son

It’s wonderful to have my friends refer me to their friends and colleagues -that’s how I met this family. Such adorable boys and nice parents! I am finding many wonderful uses for my new wide angle lens lately too; love the shot of big brothers room with the fireman toys and decor (guess what Dad does?).

On an other note, I am almost caught up. Lots of blog posts this week to follow……

Well they’re almost One now! Seeing how babies grow and change in the first year never gets old to me; it’s simply amazing. You can really see hints of their personality in the images too.

Time flies. It never ceases to amaze me how much children grow and change in the first year. Love all his expressions but him smiling on Dad’s shoulders is priceless!

One Happy Boy!

I have never had a newborn smile more! Just adorable. Here is ‘J’, 12 days fresh. He has 2 older brothers who are equally as handsome. I am booked solid through till the end of August, but I could not resist a newborn, plus this guy comes into this world to a very special mom . I’m glad we were able to work in this session and that we were able to get so many images of this precious guy!

Graduation

The other week my daughter Amanda, graduated 8th grade. It was a wonderful evening and ceremony ~~can’t believe she starts highschool this fall~~! Amanda and her friends have grown up so much these past 8 years, it’s hard to know where the time went! It was my great pleasure to shoot these girls before the ceremony and be a part of such a great evening and memory…..

Smithville Christian High School – SDCH

I’ve been shooting at Smithville Christian High over the last few weeks taking images for their promotional material. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing Boys Soccer, the cast of the drama production (The Mouse that Roared), Chapel, Creative Arts evening, the Community Choir as well as regular student life. I’d like to tell you that it makes me feel like a teen again – but nope. I have enjoyed it though!

13 days fresh. So tiny and sleepy and perfect. Thanks Dad for being a good sport and Mom for letting us just ‘do our thing’. Your girls are beautiful blessings in every way and I loved the time I got to share with them!
