Last month I spent a few days in Landis, Saskatchewan to surprise a good friend… she was totally shocked! We had a great time catching up and visiting. We spent some time roaming the prairies and the farmlands. Talk about Rural….

My baby girl had her first birthday on the first day of Spring. Yup, it’s been a year and she’s as joyful as ever!
Our Natasha. I was playing around with my flash and some 6ft wide white seamless paper. I need another 15 feet wider – she is becoming more difficult to catch these days! 
I just wanted to wish you all the Joy your heart can hold this Christmas. Have a blessed Christmas and Holiday Season.
Granted, at this posting date she is just over 8 months but I’ve had a busy Fall and I’m still catching up on personal images.
Love how I was able to capture some catchlights in her eyes – since usually she is smiling so much her eyes are slits…..

Not too much variety in expressions from my Natasha, it’s either happy, happier or happiest. 
Natasha was 6 months old on Sept 20. We took a lot of photos. Most of them you have seen in the prior post, but these are a little more tacky playful. Some of these shots were for a ‘Sweet’ contest that I didn’t win, but that’s okay because I am sure that these photos will come back to haunt Natasha be enjoyed by Natasha when she is older. I know I sure get a kick out of them!
This past weekend, we took a few photos of Natasha and her siblings. (On Sept 20th, Natasha was 6 months old.) I had the kids find their 6 month portraits (from Sears Portrait Studio – need to give credit where it’s due 
) for some comparisons. You can see for yourself how all 4 of my children looked at 6 months. Can you believe how she’s grown? Time flies….
I love hats. We tried a few on Natasha, but it’s really the expressions that make it a good shot (don’t you think?). Note the new ‘bling’.
