Engaged

Another one of the flower girls from my own wedding is getting married! She reluctantly walked down the aisle then but I have no doubt she will joyfully walk the isle this time Please note the custom designed engagement ring – I was seriously impressed by this! (and Tim!)

The wedding is set for February in Niagara on the Lake. I’m already looking forward to capturing the memories. Let’s hope we have a few inches of snow that has fallen the day prior on the ground for pictures and just as we wrap it up, a light dust of snow falls as this bride and groom depart in their horse drawn carriage. I can picture it all, but I’m getting ahead of myself, first some wonderful engagement shots…..

Married

These two love birds were married a few months back but wanted a few images done outdoors. How lucky am I to shoot a bride and groom and have them all to myself for 2 hours? These two had great personalities, plenty of humour and they really struck me as perfect together. It was a great time. Love the images we captured! Thanks B&C for putting up with my humour and helping me find my keys!

Smithville Christian High School – SDCH

I’ve been shooting at Smithville Christian High over the last few weeks taking images for their promotional material.  I’ve had the pleasure of capturing Boys Soccer, the cast of the drama production (The Mouse that Roared), Chapel, Creative Arts evening, the Community Choir as well as regular student life. I’d like to tell you that it makes me feel like a teen again – but nope. I have enjoyed it though!

My first engagement session! This is my gorgeous cousin Nicole and her man, Markus. I’ll be shooting their wedding later this year (my first). Beautiful weather, great location and a super couple – it was easy to get great shots!

I had the opportunity to ‘second’ shoot with another local photographer. I loved the idea since I have never photographed an engagement session before. This couple was great to work with and I think it shows in the images we captured. It turned out to be a great experience that I would certainly consider doing again.
