I love newborns. They are just so precious. A wonderful fresh new person sent from heaven to bless a family. God has smiled on you both L & S.  Enjoy this special time.

Just a quick post to share a link to Janet Whalen in Burlington. Back in May, Janet took a few shots of Natasha with myself (and Roger too). She has one of my favourites posted to her blog HERE.

I had a session earlier this week and more today and tomorrow. I hope to be able to share lots of photos next week. Meantime, here is a shot from mid June. We were shooting Natasha at 3 months old (pics to come) and here Quin and Natasha are telling each other stories (again).

I think her father better get lots of sleep this summer because when she starts school this fall, the boys will come knocking and Dad may have some sleepless nights! And it gets worse for him… she has 3 younger sisters that are only getting older and more beautiful too!

Journey Fans?

Am I showing my age by being a fan? Doubt it. They are timeless I hope ! Journey is truly for Only the Young at heart! I like Journey but I have a friend (Deb) who LOVES  Journey. The Girl can’t Help it. If you see her, Send her my Love.

If you’re reading this, I am dedicating this post to you. While I am typing I am singing, swaying and holding a lighter in my left hand.  Be Good to yourself and Don’t stop Believin’ that they will come to Toronto again for some good old Canadian Loving, Touchin, Squeezin.

Perfect location, perfect time of day and the perfect subject.  What a great session! We got lots of shots and I was able to try several kinds of lighting. I only regret not actually shooting the sunset,  I was too busy talking to someone I hadn’t seen in a while and my back was toward the sun. (I think the last time I was him was before my model was born :O) Oh well, next time!

June starts with a Splash

This past weekend had cool temperatures, some rain, overcast skies, far from ideal swim conditions.  This didn’t stop my scrawny handsome son from being the first in the pool for the 3rd year in a row.  

No surprise - Natasha loves the water too. 4 out 4 Regnerus children love the water and would recommend it.

    On Boxing Day, Roger purchased us a new washer and dryer. It was a great deal (he stood at Future Shop at 6am) and I was very excited to have much larger capacity, front loading units. A week later I was in Sears and discovered a coupon for a one year supply of Snuggle and Sunlight - FREE - when you purchase a Maytag Epic Washer/Dryer combo! WOHOO!! I sent in the information in January and waited.. and waited.. and waited… (meanwhile my in-laws in Florida were shipped the free storage drawer shelves that were good for US residents only). Finally my vouchers arrived at the end of April. I was so sure that it would never come, seemed to good to be true. I went out and picked up a few ’starter’ bottles at Superstore.

Problem. We don’t like Snuggle! It changed our family ’smell’ too much so I’m back to Downy. But I’ve got 7 bottles… so if you would like one, email me (Canadians Only). I’m happy to give them away. As for the Sunlight, we have yet to try it. I have 14 bottles of those. Hopefully it doesn’t change our ’smell’ too much

 

I hope everyone had a good weekend and a wonderful Mother’s Day. We drove to the School of Horticulture to check out all the flowers.  I hope to share pics later this week.
